Claudine Barretto Says She's Not Reconciling With Her Siblings

Claudine Barretto's camp, through her lawyer Ferdinand Topacio, denied that the actress is willing to let bygones be bygones with her estranged husband Raymart Santiago.

In the future, maybe the two will be able to reconcile their differences, but Atty. Topacio said it will not be anytime soon and Claudine will not take the first step.

"Ang laging pinapanalangin ko nga, na sana ay maayos ang problemang ito. Wala namang imposible, anything is possible."

He, however, clarified that Claudine's camp is not seeking to reconcile with her husband and siblings. Lately, Gretchen Barretto testified against Claudine on her temporary protection order (TPO) case against Raymart.

Gretchen revealed that the actress was a substance abuser and has been admitted to a private institution in Thailand. She also claimed that Claudine has a mental illness.

There were also rumors that the Barretto siblings--Gretchen, JJ and Marjorie--will be mending fences with their mother, Inday, who favored Claudine in this issue.

The rumors came about because Inday will be celebrating her birthday soon. Some said the Barretto siblings will attend a party for their mother. But Atty. Topacio denied saying these things.

According to him, they are even planning to file a case against Gretchen. It's impossible for them to reconcile since they are actually planning to drag Gretchen to court.

The eldest Barretto earlier said their father Miguel threatened to kill them if they will testify against Claudine. She said she is only doing this (testifying against her own sister) to help Claudine address her own problems.

He also denied that the siblings met to talk about the birthday party of their mother.

Atty. Topacio said Claudine's doors are not close. "Hindi yung patay kung patay. Pangit naman yung ganun. There is always a room for reconciliation."

In the end, Atty. Topacio said the reconciliation will not be coming from Claudine's end because they did not do anything wrong.

Claudine earlier admitted to missing Marjorie, the closest to her, and her nieces and nephews. She hoped they will not forget her as "Tita Claudine."

But when it comes to Gretchen, Claudine is still not willing to forgive and forget. In fact, the actress does not even mention the name of her sister.
