Last New Year, that secret lover texted him even though he was not in the Philippines. The message said that even if he's already old and bald, he will still be Vice's biggest supporter.
He doesnt' have to say anything, the lover added, because what's important for him is Vice knows what's in his heart.
It is Vice who said he doesn't want to reveal the identity of his secret lover. Although it's true that Vice and his lover cannot go out by themselves, it is still the only way he can keep their privacy.
Vice said they cannot be seen in public here in the country. If they ever do a movie, Vice said the title would be "Pag-Ibig Sa Dilim."
Just recently, he told his lover that they should already break up. It's tiring for him to be stuck in the same old room. They cannot even go out as a group.
In fact, when he had a problem one time and he was in a club together with his friends, Vice had a breakdown. His lover then appeared out of nowhere because Vice's friends texted him that he has a problem.
Vice cajoled him to go home because he was afraid people will see them together. That is the consequence of his success as an artist.
"Ako naman, okay lang. Ang gulo na ng buhay ko. Natatakot ako na magugulo siya at ang pamilya niya."
He is afraid there is atleast one person who will want to talk about them, and who will try to earn from writing about them.
Vice faced a lot of challenges last 2013. He received a lot of criticisms because of his tasteless joke on GMA-7 anchor Jessica Soho and also went through a depression that caused him to be absent from noontime show "It's Showtime."
He learned a lot from his mistakes the past year. "Kasi, yung pagkakamali ko, hindi ko naman nagawa na first time. Nagawa ko na rin dati. At lahat naman tayo, nakagawa na ng pagkakamali na nauulit lang natin."
The most important thing to do when someone makes a mistake is for him to accept that mistake and ask forgiveness from those he hurt. Even if he has no intention to hurt anyone, he should still ask for forgiveness.
That is the reason why the people are easy to forgive him because they know he has no intention to hurt anyone.
"Nagkataon lang na nagkamali, pero hindi masama ang intensiyon ko."
There was even a time he told himself that he wants to stop already. But of course, he's already "acting" at that time. Whenever he's hurt, he just cries and lets go of the incident.
That is also the same advice he gave to his friend, Anne Curtis, who was involved in a nasty scandal wherein she slapped actor John Lloyd Cruz in an exclusive club in Taguig City.
Vice told her that Anne has no way of knowing if the rumors will go away today, next week or next month. What anyone can do is just to cry over it and pray that he/she can get over it.
