Not only is she the only one being blessed because of her not having sex, the presidential sister thinks her son Bimby is also being blessed because of her celibacy.
Aquino told Abunda that she has realized that it is possible to get happiness from self fulfillment. She said she has realized it can also come from “seeing people loving your child”.
The TV host along with legendary comedian Vic Sotto, child star Ryzza Mae Dizon and her son Bimby had the most successful among the lot of entries to this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival based on gross earnings.
It appears that Aquino is so overwhelmed by the blessings she and her son have that she is asking God why this is happening.
“Sinabi ko nga, nagdarasal ako, 'God, ano ba ang nagawa kong bongga para ibigay mo ito kay Bimb?' Kasi hindi ba nasa Biblia 'yon na kung ano ang itanim mo bilang magulang 'yon ang aanihin ng anak,” she told Abunda.
According to her, she just thanks God for everything.
Nonetheless, she has her thoughts why all this is happening.
“Kasi siguro mabait ako, kasi siguro celibate ako, sorry I have to say, let's be honest,” she said.
According to her, being celibate is a sign that she knows what her priorities in life are. Furthermore, she says she knows what is most important to her and that is why God gives those to you. She says her priorities are her two sons.
Aquino has recently said that she is not actively looking for a new romance. She echoed this in the talk with Abunda as she said that she prayed once for God to just continue things as they are as long as her two boys are happy.
She said, “kahit walang partner, okay na ako. But please don’t make me feel lonely lang.”
She said she prayed to God that she still continue to feel whatever fulfillment and joy she is currently feeling. Aquino added that she prayed that God would take care of her when the point comes that she feels lonely.
