People were amused with Vice Ganda's answer when he was asked on "Buzz Ng Bayan" on the real score between Billy Crawford and Coleen Garcia. The three are co-hosts on "It's Showtime."
A picture of the two attending a basketball game in New York surfaced over the holiday. Some said it's a confirmation that the two are already an item, but Vice neither confirmed nor denied it.
"Hindi po ako sinungaling, pero hindi rin po ako presumida. Gusto kong manguna sa takilya, pero ayokong mauna sa tsismis!"
Vice does not want to answer the question if he cannot give a truthful answer, he said. He added that he does not want to assume anything, and confirm or deny anything for Billy and Coleen.
It's up to them to confirm or deny their relationship because they owe that to the public. He just laughed when asked about the New York picture of the two.
Asked what he wishes for Billy and Coleen, he just said he wants everybody to have peace in their hearts and to be happy.
He was with Coleen earlier that day and he also regularly texts with Billy, Vice said, adding he can see that the two are happy as individuals. Vice said he doesn't have to ask the two about the picture because everybody saw it already.
If the two are really together, what would be his reaction? "I am happy for everyone!"
When Billy and ex-girlfriend Nikki Gil broke up last year, a lot of people said it's because the TV host-singer was fooling around. Reports said the third party was either Coleen or Andi Eigenmann. Both actresses denied the rumors, but in the end, it was Coleen who apparently has reason to explain. In a separate interview, Nikki hinted that third party caused the breakup of their five-year relationship.
Meanwhile, Vice shared how happy he is that is 2013 Metro Manila Film Fest entry "Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy" is doing well in the box office. It already earned P300 million since the opening of the film fest last Christmas Day.
In fact, some reports said the movie is almost near the earnings of the top grossing film, "My Little Bossings" by Vic Sotto and Kris Aquino.
Vice doesn't care about it. He said he's very happy with the current status of his film, and he's in cloud nine ever since the film fest started on December 25.
What he realized with "Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy" is that the “madlang people” will support him no matter who he is with in the movie. "Sisterakas," his film with Kris and Ai-Ai Delas Alas last 2012, was also another top-grossing film.
"Tapos, all-out support talaga sila. Masasabi kong ito ang biggest achievement ko, so far, sa lahat ng mga pelikulang nagawa ko."
He is proud that out of all the five movies he starred in, this film was the one that received a lot of good reviews. Vice said it's very hard for him to portray four characters, but he was able to pull that off.
In "Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy," Vice played quadruplets who were separated at birth.
Vice is not the only one proud of his accomplishments. His group and his family are also proud of him.
He then clarified reports that he was disappointed when he did not win as Best Actor during the Gabi Ng Parangal. The award went to Robin Padilla for "10,000 Hours." Vice said he wasn't really expecting any award.
Everybody was telling him that he will win the award, but the reason why he wanted to be at the show is because he wants to don his outfit.
"Maraming nag-e-expect na ako ang mananalo, maraming nagsasabi—kahit si Robin. Ayun! Kaya nakakatuwa na rin na kahit hindi ako nanalo, maraming naniwalang mananalo daw ako."
