MMFF earns P934 million in 12 days

The 2013 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) earned a whopping P934 million in 12 days, according to Metropolitan Manila Development Authority chairman Francis Tolentino.
In a phone interview with ABS-CBNnews.com on Monday, Tolentino said the comedy film "My Little Bossings" starring Vic Sotto, Ryzza Mae Dizon and James "Bimby" Jap Jr. is still the top grossing film in the 2013 MMFF.

Still in second and third place are Vice Ganda's comedy movie "Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy" and the horror film "Pagpag: Siyam na Buhay" starring Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.

According to Tolentino, "Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy" surpassed "My Little Bossings" in terms of earnings last Sunday, January 5.

He did not cite figures.

"For that single day lang, 'yung kahapon lamang, 'yung 'Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy' for single day lang 'yung kahapon. Pero [leading pa rin] sa overall ang 'My Little Bossings,'" he said.

The rest of the MMFF entries this year, in no particular order, are "Kimmy Dora: Ang Kiyemeng Prequel," "10,000 Hours," "Boy Golden: Shoot to Kill (The Arturo Porcuna Story)," "Pedro Calungsod: Batang Martir," and "Kaleidoscope World."
