MANILA -- After playing four characters, including a straight male, in his latest movie, comedian Vice Ganda is itching to do an action-comedy movie.
If he had his way, the openly gay "It's Showtime" host would want to do a spin-off movie featuring his character Peter Jackstone, who is the "boy" in his hit entry to the recently concluded Metro Manila Film Festival.
"Kaya sinimulan na doon," he said after he signed a new contract with ABS-CBN on Monday.
"Noon ko pa ni re-request 'yun, 'yung medyo may pagka-'Fast and the Furious.'
Meanwhile, the popular comedian said "Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy" is still showing in some theaters even after the MMFF has officially ended.
Napakaraming taong nagpakahirap sa paggawa ng pelikulang ito but it's all worth it," he said.
"Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy" has now breached the P400-million mark, breaking the record set by "Sisterakas," which also starred Vice Ganda.
Asked of his plans with ABS-CBN, Vice Ganda, who is already busy with the noontime show "It's Showtime" and the Sunday variety show "Gandang Gabi Vice, said he is already satisfied with the two shows.
"Tinanong lang nila ako kung aside from 'GGV' and 'It's Showtime,' kung mayroon pa akong ibang gustong gawin, sabi ko kontento na ako," he said.
