Daniel explains holding hands photo with Kathryn

MANILA – Daniel Padilla again played down rumors that he and Kathryn Bernardo are now a couple after their picture took social networking sites by storm over the weekend.

The photo was uploaded by “Got to Believe” director Cathy Garcia Molina in her Instagram account last Friday with the caption “Wawa naman mga bago kong anak... bagsak.”

The picture, which showed Padilla and Bernardo holding hands while sleeping, was supposedly taken after a taping for the Kapamilya series.

But in an interview with ABS-CBN News, Padilla said the picture was scripted. “Kinuha ni direk Cathy 'yun. Sinadya 'yun,” he said.

Just last week, Bernardo and Padilla became a hot topic on Twitter after the teen actor admitted that they are now exclusively dating.

“Ganun ba? Wala na ring oras manligaw ng iba. Siguro ganun nga 'yun,” Padilla said.

The two Kapamilya stars are currently in Singapore for a five-day taping for their series “Got To Believe.”
