He clarified though that he was very careful when he did the shoot. He even asked hus manager to tell everyone to leave the room and leave JC and the photographer.
JC said this is the perfect time for him to do projects like these (his second sexy shoot in two months) because his body is ready and prepared for it.
He maintained he will not do exclusively sexy roles. Even before he transferred to ABS-CBN, JC is already fond of working out and taking care of his body. It's just that his network now appreciates his well-toned and muscular body.
When it comes to roles though, JC said he's not willing to do nude and gay love scenes if it's to sell him as sexy. He will only do characters like those if it's really needed in the material.
It still depends on the projects and his involvement in it, the actor added.
With regards to butt exposure, JC said he has no qualms about it. In fact, in Hollywood, butt exposures are pretty normal, he said.
"Pag kailangan talaga sa character, hindi ako magdadalawang isip. Pero pag ang indie film may pagka porn na ang dating, di siguro."
JC is now busy with a couple of projects for ABS-CBN--one is "The Legal Wife" with Angel Locsin, Jericho Rosales and Maja Salvador while the other one is "Moon of Desire" with Ellen Adrana and Meg Imperial.
"Moon of Desire" will be an afternoon soap that will showcase JC as "sexy and sensual." The actor said viewers can expect him to bare more skin than usual.
