Kim said it was Xian who tried to break down her walls after the incident with Maja. She is comfortable with him already, especially since they were together in several shows including the top-rating "Ina, Kapatid, Anak" and "Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo?"
Kim added that Xian also made an effort to reach out to her family--her comfort zone.
What were the things she likes most about Xian? Kim said Xian is nice, caring and respectful.
Kim said the one thing she cannot tolerate in a man is when he pursues different girls at the same time. Loyalty, the actress said, is the best policy.
Meanwhile, Xian said the public will know in time what's the real score between him and Kim. The two always say that they are "special friends."
Also, Kim's statement about them not owing the public their private lives has become controversial lately.
"In time... we won’t be selfish about it. We will be more than happy to share it."
Xian is happy that Kim thinks of him as a close friend. There was a point in their "relationship" that the actor became very close to Kim's family. He was able to bond with her siblings and even her father.
"I think that’s one of the reasons she said that. Kasi mayroon kaming certain connection na hindi lang basta ‘hi hello’ o acquaintance."
Xian admitted he knows them in a more personal side.
As for what's in store for him in 2014, Xian said he's thankful for all the projects coming his way.
There were just a few people given the opportunity like him.
Kim and Xian both want to focus on their careers and make everyone happy.
Asked what he is wishing for this year, the actor said he wants to have better communication skills. He is often misunderstood by people, he added, so he wants them to better understand him and his attitude.
Xian said he's just misunderstood most of the time, and he's really trying to reach out to people.
There were already rumors that the entertainment press do not necessarily like how Xian is with them. In the latest report, Xian apparently disrespected reporter Jobert Sucaldito.
When Jobert asked Xian in a fundraiser if Kim won't be with him that night, Xian asked him what kind of question that was and then walked away from the interview.
Xian said everything's okay now as he has already apologized to Jobert through his official Twitter account.
