The Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy star said he has always been a true blue Kapamilya and never wavered in his loyalty to the station. “I have never considered moving to other networks. Never. It was an easy negotiation. Actually walang kailangang i-negotiate. Nung sinabing mag-e-expire na, renew ka na, sabi ko, 'Go!'” he admitted.
Vice shared that he is happy with the terms of his new contract and did not have any new demands or specifications. “Tinanong lang nila na aside from GGV and Showtime kung may iba pa akong gustong gawin, sabi ko sobang kuntento na ako. Siguro meron lang mga reformat na gagawin para mas mapaganda yung mga programa. I didn't really ask for a new show, may gusto lang akong bagong atake sa GGV na gagawin na open naman sila sa ganun,” he explained.
Even after the P420 Million box-office returns of his MMFF film, Vice said asking for a higher talent fee was not his top priority but getting good, quality projects in the future. “They just gave me what I deserve. They just gave me what's due me,” he added.
Happy with the growing success of his Metro Manila Film Fest movie, Vice said he would consider joining the film festival again this year. “Showing pa rin naman, extended ang Girl, Boy, Bakla,Tomboy dahil more than one hundred theaters showing sa buong Pilipinas, sa Northern America at sa Canada kaya dire-diretso pa yung pagpapasaya. Pero tapos na yung nerbiyos ko. Nalagpasan ko na yung pressure, yung stress. Masayang masaya na ako kasi ang daming taong nagpakahirap gumawa ng pelikulang ito but it's all worth it. Okay lang naman sumali ulit. I wouldn't mind. Kasi sobra akong blessed yung movie ko, film fest o hindi tinatao naman. Tinatanggap naman siya ng tao. Kasi meron namang iba pag film fest bongga pero pag hindi parang okay lang,” he shared.
